Jasmine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and the Director of Mental Health for 20 schools in Los Angeles and Certified Trauma & Resilience Focused Clinical Practitioner (TRFP-C). During her “free” time she is a clinical supervisor, trainer, and creator behind the Social Work Sage Instagram page about school mental health by night. Jasmine received her BA in Psychology and Africana Studies from Pomona College and her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Chicago. Since 2008 she has worked with children and adolescents in Chicago and Los Angeles schools and communities of color.

She is passionate about reducing the stigma of mental health in Black and Latinx communities and establishing mental health interventions and supports in schools. She specializes in depression and anxiety in children and adolescents, trauma-informed schools and program development.
